Introduction – Financial Reports

Companies are required under accounting standards to recognize share-based payment expenses in their financial statements. If your organization offers shares, stock options, or other equity-based compensation to employees and executives, Qapita’s Financial Reports module helps streamline this process—eliminating the need for manual calculations in Excel.

The module leverages your existing grant data to:

  • Capture Fair Values at grant or vest level
  • Input key accounting assumptions
  • Record historically recognized expenses
  • Generate reports based on your preferred reporting intervals
  • Automatically account for true-ups and option movements

These reports are tailored for inclusion in financial disclosures and align with IFRS 2 Share-based Payment requirements, making them audit-ready.

To access the Financial Reports, navigate to Equity Awards in the left-hand menu and select Financial Reports.
