Delete a Stakeholder

This guide provides a clear and concise procedure for deleting stakeholder details within the Qapita platform. Please follow the steps below carefully to ensure the information is removed correctly.

How to Delete Stakeholder Details

  1. Access the Stakeholder Page: Begin by navigating to the main Stakeholder management area. You can do this by clicking on "Stakeholders" in the menu located on the left side of your Qapita dashboard.

   2. Select Stakeholder and Initiate Deletion: Once on the Stakeholder page, locate the specific stakeholder whose details you wish to delete. Next to their entry, click on the  icon or a similar action button, and then select "Delete Stakeholder" from the dropdown menu that appears. This action will prompt the "Confirm Delete Stakeholder" screen to be displayed, requesting your confirmation.


  3. Confirm Deletion: On the "Confirm Delete Stakeholder" screen, carefully review the details. To finalize the deletion process, type and click the "Delete Stakeholder" button.

Important Note: Please be aware that a stakeholder who is already associated with an existing transaction or grant within the Qapita system cannot be deleted. You may need to disassociate them from any such records before proceeding with deletion.
